Hi John,
Quick question: do you support onshore wind farms?
If like 80% of the public you do, I need you to sign this urgent petition now. [1]

Onshore wind farms have been banned in England since 2014, but that could all change: critical negotiations on whether to lift the ban are taking place right now. [2]
The situation is on a knife edge - high-profile Conservatives including Boris Johnson and Liz Truss are pressuring Rishi Sunak to support new onshore wind farms. With so many Conservatives threatening to rebel, there’s a real chance the Prime Minister could be forced to lift the ban.
We need our petition to be as big as possible during these crunch talks. The bigger our petition, the stronger the case is that the public supports the ban being lifted and the more likely Rishi Sunak is to give ground to the MPs lobbying him on it.
John, can you sign the petition telling the government to support renewable energy by lifting the ban on onshore wind?

It is ridiculous that the government has banned the cheapest, cleanest energy going for so many years. But now we’re in the middle of an unprecedented energy crisis, it’s simply unforgivable.
New onshore wind farms are desperately needed to turbocharge clean energy production and bring down skyrocketing energy prices. It is estimated that energy bills could have been £4.5 billion lower if the ban had never been introduced in the first place. The government needs to make up for lost time and scrap the ban now! [3]
50,000 people have already taken a stand and signed our petition. The stakes are too high to sit this one out, so please do add your name too.: [link removed]
Thanks for all that you do,
