Dear Friend,  <[link removed]>

Happy New Year!

It’s hard to believe it's 2020 already. We know that 2019 was filled with many hard-fought battles as we encountered total abortion bans, continued separation of families, and the many targets on our bodies. It was hard but we’re back and we’re ready!

It’s a new year and URGE is committed as ever to the fight for reproductive justice for young people across the South and Midwest. We know you are working hard for young people in your state, and we are continuing to work hard for young people on the federal level. As Congress comes back from the holidays we are meeting with legislators and demanding that they pass policies the ensure reproductive justice for young people. Let them hear from you too! <[link removed]>

Policies like the EACH Woman Act <[link removed]>, Women’s Health Protection Act <[link removed]>, and Real Education for Healthy Youth Act <[link removed]> would ensure that young people can access abortion regardless of zip code or health insurance and receive comprehensive sex education that is non-stigmatizing and medically accurate.

Please contact your legislators today <[link removed]> and tell them to pass policies that ensure reproductive justice for young people!

In 2020 the fight for reproductive justice continues and we look forward to continuing that work with you!

In Solidarity,

Monica Edwards & Preston Mitchum

Federal Policy Manager & Director of Policy
