Last month, we asked you to weigh in on the progress UNICEF has made this year and what felt most compelling to you.
We’re so thankful for your thoughtful feedback. We received hundreds of responses about the shared commitment to UNICEF’s work and learned that the war in Ukraine continues to be a priority for many of you. Learn more about how you and UNICEF are helping children in Ukraine >>
In the nine months since war began in Ukraine, UNICEF has continued to deliver critical relief to the children and families who have faced the brunt of the devastation and disruption. UNICEF teams have scaled up programs in and around Ukraine to meet the evolving needs of children — from providing urgent humanitarian aid to delivering long-term assistance to help children resume their childhoods. |
Despite ongoing conflict, UNICEF has made transformative progress for children. Now, as a harsh winter approaches, UNICEF is working around the clock to increase support. Throughout the season, UNICEF will provide warm winter clothing and blankets, extend child care services, help distribute cash transfers and deliver assistance to protect children.
In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll keep you informed on UNICEF’s response and share how you can sustain support for children affected by the war in Ukraine. For now, take a closer look at the current situation in Ukraine and the impact we’re making together.
Thank you for your commitment to children,
UNICEF USA
