Meeting highlights include:


* A presentation and decision about priorities for the 2023 Washington state legislative session. This session will include an update from Partnership staff about the build-up to the 2023 legislative session and a discussion about 2023 legislative priorities. Presentation by Don Gourlie, legislative policy director at the Puget Sound Partnership.

* A?presentation and discussion of the Tulalip Tribes' Beaver Project.?The Tulalip Beaver Project relocates beavers from (sub)urban areas to hydrologically impaired tributaries in the upper Snohomish Watershed for the improvement of fish-rearing habitat and freshwater storage. Presentation by Dylan Collins, assistant wildlife biologist, Tulalip Tribes Natural Resources Department.

* A presentation and discussion about the 2022 Science Panel work plan and boards' shared priorities. This session will include an update about progress made on the boards' shared priorities and the Science Panel's 2022 work plan. Presentation by John Stein, chair of the Science Panel, and Jillian Reitz, boards policy advisor at the Puget Sound Partnership.


* A presentation and discussion about developing the solicitation for 2023-2025 Puget Sound Scientific Research projects. Partnership staff will seek guidance from the Science Panel on refining the approach and topics for the 2023 solicitation. Presentation by?Scott Redman,?Science and Evaluation program director at the Puget Sound Partnership, and Katherine Wyatt,?assistant science director at the Puget Sound Partnership.
