Friend — we did it! We reached our Giving Tuesday goal to raise 500 grassroots donations before our deadline, unlocking a $100,000 donation to fund environmental campaigns in 2023!

This is amazing news — a donation like this makes a huge difference in LCV's work to address the climate crisis, bring about environmental justice, and protect our democracy.
 
We have big plans for next year. This support, from hundreds of LCV supporters, will help us:

1. Fight for historic environmental protections. Right now, President Biden is weighing stronger protections to safeguard our air and water and hasten the transition to clean energy. We’re rallying grassroots support, driving letters into the White House to ensure those protections are as strong as possible.
2. Preserve access to cherished outdoor spaces. LCV is campaigning for President Biden to protect culturally and ecologically significant public lands from exploitation. This year, we won a major victory when President Biden declared Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument. Now we need to keep the momentum going!
3. Safeguard our democracy from election deniers. This November, Americans made it clear that they won’t accept elected leaders who fight against democracy. This is a direct result of our work in the runup to this year’s midterm elections. Now, with 2024 and key state elections on the horizon, we’ll continue to protect your right to vote.

This community’s incredible generosity is what will power our efforts to address the climate crisis and attacks on democracy with the urgency they require.
