Prior to joining the Biden Administration, Dr. Jha was dean of the School of Public Health at Brown University, and earlier led the Harvard Global Health Institute and taught at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School. He has led groundbreaking research around Ebola and has been a trusted voice on the COVID-19 response, leading national and international analysis of key issues and advising state and federal policy makers. Dr. Jha has contributed more than 50 articles to Health Affairs over the past 15 years.
