The holiday season is officially here, and on behalf of everyone at Outright, I wish you all the best this month. It’s also the Season of Giving, and I hope you’ll give the gift of hope today, for better LGBTIQ lives tomorrow.
With your support, Outright will continue to fight with and for LGBTIQ people everywhere. Outright works with partners around the globe to strengthen the capacity of the LGBTIQ human rights movement, document and amplify the many violations against LGBTIQ people, and advocate for inclusion and equality.
- We all need to listen to LGBTIQ activists on the front lines. From Ukrainian activists helping their communities during the war, to Caribbean activists fighting to overturn colonial-era laws banning same-sex relations, Outright amplifies their voices so they can be heard. Will you help us AMPLIFY the voices of activists?
- In the last year alone, Outright made USD 2.2 million dollars in grants supporting organizations in over 21 countries. We also provided strategic advice, training, networking, and connections to strengthen and grow a powerful global LGBTIQ movement. Will you help us SUPPORT frontline LGBTIQ organizations around the world?
- With partners, Outright advocated successfully for the renewal of the mandate for the Independent Expert on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity at the United Nations. This important global mandate examines, monitors, advises, and publicly reports on matters related to human rights violations based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Will you help ensure that Outright can ADVOCATE vociferously?
- While our work is hard, there is also much to celebrate. Legal wins in St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, and St. Kitts and Nevis serve as examples of progress. We also celebrate the growth and expansion of our movement, such as in Malawi, where Pride gatherings are just emerging for the first time. Will you help us ensure that there is progress to continue to CELEBRATE?
