And the angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.’” — Luke 2:10 (ESV) It is one of the first New Testament proclamations of the gospel. On a quiet Judean hillside good news came — but not in the way people expected. The good news of Jesus’ birth did not come first to religious elite, scholars, or kings. It came to simple shepherds. All throughout the gospels, Jesus makes it clear that His good news is for everyone. It is for the person next door to us. And it is for the person living in the toughest places. This Christmas who can you tell about the good news that brings great joy? Praises and Prayers
