Right now, amazing women need support to keep campaigning to stamp out FGM in their communities. Whether it’s training to be a community leader, spreading their message on local radio, or simply sharing what they’ve learnt with others —they face an uphill battle every day. And we want to stand with them.
When one girl has the courage to say no to FGM, a ripple effect begins. It’s possible that within our lifetime we could see an end to FGM in Uganda. And the more money we raise for training, workshops, mentors and safe spaces, the more girls will find ways to resist FGM and rates can continue to drop.
