Good morning,
Here is the Texas Minute for Monday, December 5, 2022.
– Brandon Waltens
This weekend was the Conservative Leader Awards, where we celebrate the citizens who do the work to advance self-governance in the Lone Star State.
Of the more than 150 nominations we received from across the state of citizen-leaders whose activism serves as an exemplary model for how to impact public policy at the grassroots level, 13 were selected.
Since 2014, there have been more than 100 recipients of the Conservative Leader Award.
These awardees come from all walks of life to advance self governance from school boards to city hall to the state capitol. 2022 Conservative Leader Recipients Bonnie Brown

In addition to our Conservative Leader Awards, each year we present the Torch of Freedom Award to an individual for for their outstanding accomplishments for the benefit of citizens and the conservative movement in Texas.
This year, the award was presented to Chandler Crouch. A real estate from North Texas, Crouch has used his expertise to help thousands of Texans protest their property tax appraisals for free, earning him the ire of bureaucrats in Tarrant County as well as this year's award.
Please join me and the entire Texas Scorecard team in congratulating all of this year’s awardees! 🔒 Donate to Texas Scorecard 🔒 [[link removed]] Number of the Day

We don’t include politicians’ email addresses, because email is generally an inefficient way to communicate with elected officials due to volume and spam. We recommend sending a postcard or letter to their mailing address, or calling their office.
