With the 2020 Census just around the corner in April, it's time to really start getting the word out to families about counting all kids.
As you know, federal funding for a whole host of children's services — from education to health to nutrition and more — will depend in part on whether we effectively encourage families to fully participate in the count.
To help you in that effort, we've launched a new webpage that is full of handy resources.
You'll find these and other posters — in English and Spanish — to post or hand out in child care centers, clinics, offices, and anyplace else where families will see them.
The website also includes FAQs on counting young kids in the Census, a sample PowerPoint Presentation on the Census, and other materials that we created in collaboration with our partners at the Center for Public Policy Priorities.
