It’s not too late to stop a war with Iran. Over the past few days, I’ve
been working around the clock to draft legislation, spread awareness, and
build a coalition of leaders who will stand for peace. Now, I need your
help.

Here’s the situation: Just yesterday, I introduced a bill that would
defund any offensive action against Iran without Congressional approval.
It’s very similar to the amendment that the White House stripped from the
NDAA last month.

on my patriotism — using tactics with concerning similarities to the
rhetoric that brought us into the Iraq War.

Let’s be extremely clear: When I first introduced this legislation, it was
with a Republican co-sponsor, and support from 27 House Republicans.
Averting reckless war is not a partisan cause — it is a humanitarian one.
