Yes, we need to win this runoff to keep Herschel Walker far, far away from the U.S. Senate. Yes, we need to win this runoff to finally expand our Democratic Senate majority, which is as slim as they come.
But the number one reason why we need to win this runoff is because Raphael Warnock is a good and decent man, and a terrific U.S. senator.
I sit near him on the Senate floor, and I watch him day after day as he fights for the people of Georgia.
He’s one of the people who fought for a $35 cap on monthly insulin costs for seniors on Medicare. One of the people who fought to make health insurance more affordable for millions of Americans. One of the people who fought to defend the right to vote and the right to have that vote counted.
He lives his values every single day in the U.S. Senate. Georgia will be well-served if he wins re-election, and so will families across the nation. But he needs our help right now to get out the vote in these powerfully important final days.
