John, We’re so pleased to announce the newest member of our campaign team: our new field director, Alex Kack! You may know Alex as The Green Shirt Guy - the sanctuary city advocate who was front and center in videos and pictures from a Tucson City Council meeting that went viral last year.
While Alex’s laugh is famous around the country, his credentials, organizing experience, and commitment to progressive values are what really stand out. He’s done field organizing for Amnesty International, Arizona Healthy Working Families (a minimum wage initiative), Tucson Families Free and Together (Tucson's sanctuary city initiative), and a number of progressive candidates’ campaigns.
