In another line of work, this might be the time to catch our collective breath. Between the policy challenges of the last year and our celebration of PRI’s 40th anniversary, there wasn’t much time for breath-catching. And when I look ahead, I don’t see much time for it in 2020 either!

While we’re not slowing down here at PRI, we do hope to provide a bit of perspective. In our all-consuming age, it’s easy to get caught up in specific policies or news events while losing sight of the principles that should inform them.

We help our state and our nation do that. And by supporting the Pacific Research Institute, you help us do that.

Thank you for standing with the Pacific Research Institute, and on the side of freedom, opportunity, and personal responsibility.

Thank you, as well, for helping us close out our anniversary year with resounding success. Through the support of dedicated patriots like you, we raised more than $100,000 in our 2019 Year-End Fundraising Campaign.

With you at our side, we’re poised to fight—and win—2020’s most pressing policy battles, including:
* The rising popularity of Medicare for All and its socialistic cousins
* Continued attempts to stand between public employees and their First Amendment rights
* Repeated failures to address California’s worsening homeless crisis
* Efforts from entrenched bureaucrats to limit educational freedom and choice
