China is investing in a significant, long-term military presence at Pangong Tso near the hotly disputed China-India border, including what appears to be a new division-level headquarters and garrison just six kilometers from the disputed border with India.

1 million b/d
Last year, Russia exported about 3.1 million b/d in crude oil and feedstocks to Europe, as well as about 1.3 million b/d in refined products. As of October 2022, Russia had lost about one million b/d in crude oil exports to Europe, but made up for most of these volumes by shifting oil sales from west to east.

Recent climate summits, including COP27 and ClimateWeek NYC, have not been able to instigate concrete action for furthering the subnational climate agenda. Since the conclusion of COP27, the U.S. has only committed $3 million.
