Dear Friend, |
With the balance of power in Congress shifting, it’s unlikely we’ll see major legislation in the next two years. |
Fortunately, we’re ready for this moment. Over the last two years, supporters like you have taken action on more than a hundred different issues — and the vast majority of those had nothing to do with Congress. That’s because the agency rulemakings and comment periods associated with them are where so many of the big decisions are made that will actually determine whether the air you breathe is clean or whether or not an endangered species will have enough habitat to thrive. |
This isn’t to say Congress isn’t important — it is — but it’s a reminder that the executive branch can still do a whole lot. In fact, executive action will be the primary means for President Biden to live up to his promises. On climate, social justice, biodiversity, and everything else in between, he’ll have to show his commitment to change directly. The days of blaming Congress and delaying government action in the name of political expediency are over. |
We’re going to need your help to make the next two years of executive action more impactful than the last. You can do that today by clicking here to take all the actions below. |
