Democrats have a few weeks to do everything they can to protect Medicaid
coverage, pass the Child Tax Credit, and allocate billions of dollars for
infrastructure.

Each of these programs would go a long way in easing some unnecessary
pain, suffering, and hardship people experience across the nation.

When Republican extremists take power in the House, none of these programs
will be a priority.

Already, Republicans in Congress are talking about using deficits to
justify cuts. We need to make sure that we get Congress to act before the

Make no mistake, attacks on our healthcare and vital programs for working
people will ramp up with Republicans in power.
