Australia continues to be in my heart, friend.

Towers of flame are still burning as an entire continent has been forced into a dire emergency. Over 14 million acres of land have been torched, over a billion animals have been killed, volunteer firefighters are putting their lives at risk, and the smoke is even choking residents in New Zealand, thousands of miles away.

Whether climate change deniers in power accept it or not, these disasters will not solve themselves. They will spiral out beyond our imagination. This is not the first time our global community has been ravaged by the climate crisis, and these disasters will continue to scale up to uncontrollable proportions. We must act now to fix this crisis and make it a top priority.
