Folks — We have exciting news today!

Soon, it will go back to the House of Representatives for final passage. Then, it will go to President Biden’s desk, where he will sign into law federal protections for marriage equality.

We’re putting together a card to thank Tammy for all of her hard work to get this legislation passed with strong bipartisan support, and we want you to sign on!

Please, add your name to our card thanking Tammy for her efforts to get this landmark legislation across the finish line. [[link removed]]

Tammy has been a champion for LGBTQ equality for years, and the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act is an important step in the right direction.

So much progress has been made in recent years — but still, we see attempts across the country to take away rights for those in the LGBTQ community. Republican-led state legislatures across the country continue to pass harmful legislation, especially targeting transgender people and LGBTQ youth.

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade , Justice Clarence Thomas called for Obergefell v. Hodges — the case that established nationwide marriage equality — to be “reconsidered.”

After that, Tammy sprang into action to protect same-sex and interracial marriage, and with her hard work, we’ve made progress in the right direction.

Let’s surprise Tammy with a thank you card for her hard work — sign on here, and write a message of support if you’d like! [[link removed]]
