National Human Trafficking Prevention Month:
Learn More About How You Can Support the Church's Efforts to End Human Trafficking
January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month and this year it marks the beginning of the Justice for Immigrants coalition including Anti-Trafficking advocacy as part of its direct advocacy and policy work.

See our National Human Trafficking Prevention Month toolkit!
It has many exciting and important ways for you to work to end human trafficking in your community and help fight modern slavery in your parish and also with your elected lawmaker. Please join our Become a SHEPHERD community and add human trafficking to your ministries and activities.

See our New Human Trafficking Section of the JFI Website!
Take a moment to see some of our existing resources and learn more about what we are working on moving forward.

Stay Tuned for February 8th!
February 8th is the Feast Day of St. Josephine Bakhita, who was herself enslaved until asserting her freedom. Her Feast Day has been designated the Catholic Church's World Day of Prayer, Reflection and Action Against Human Trafficking.

In the Greater DC area? Please come to our Mass honoring St. Josephine Bakhita in partnership with the Coalition of Catholic Organizations Against Human Trafficking (CCOAHT), USCCB/MRS and the Archdiocese of Washington.

Please stayed tuned for more updates on this important new development of our work here at Justice for Immigrants.

In Solidarity,
