It’s Mark Hamill, actor and writer, here to ask you to help me with something. You may know me best from my films, such as “Star Wars,” but I have also been using my platform to stay politically engaged and active, because we all need to do our part to make a world where everyone can thrive.

You may have already voted and figured your work was done. But we need you to do one more thing—help make sure we get to 51 Democrats in the U.S. Senate. On December 6, Raphael Warnock will face off against Herschel Walker in Georgia’s critical runoff election for the Senate. The actions you take with MoveOn could be the margin of victory for Senator Warnock.

A couple of weeks ago, I joined MoveOn members to take action for Georgia and for all voters at their Rally for Democracy and for Georgia. Now I ask you to join too, by signing up to volunteer to call voters and urge them to reelect Raphael Warnock.

Reelecting Sen. Warnock means Democrats will hold 51 seats in the Senate. With 51 seats, Democrats can confirm judges faster without Republican obstruction and rebalance the courts packed with Trump-appointed judges. Trump’s judges have blocked student debt relief, made it harder to enforce the Voting Rights Act, and upheld laws restricting abortion rights.

50 seats means Republicans can prevent Biden’s judges from getting a vote.

Sign up now to join us at a virtual phone bank to call voters about getting to the polls. These are fun and friendly calls to voters who share our values but may need that extra reminder to vote on Tuesday.

Vote, volunteer at the polls, phonebank, donate—do whatever you can. 51 seats is critical, winnable, and what Georgians and all Americans deserve. Please join me and take action today. Everyone can participate from home across the country, and MoveOn will provide training and support along the way. There's less than a week left before voting ends on December 6.
