Listening to his MAGA opponent Herschel Walker speak — about vampires and werewolves, about pregnant cows in fenced-in pastures, about good air going to China, about how there are too many trees — it’s easy to see that he’s not qualified to be a Senator. Surely, no one who knows what being a senator is like could ever support him, right?

Wrong.

Herschel Walker has a very real chance of winning, John. Because Senate Republicans don’t want a senator from Georgia; they want a yes man, someone who will show up and vote the way they tell him to vote. That’s why big-name Republicans like Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham are throwing all their resources behind Herschel Walker.
