Congressman Kim Co-Leads Efforts to Expand GI Education Access
This week, Congressman Kim helped introduce the G.I. Bill Transferability Improvement Act of 2022 to expand education benefits for our servicemembers. The legislation would build-off the G.I. Bill and ensure our dedicated servicemembers, who have already given 12 years of honorable service, can access the G.I. benefits they have earned.
Congressman Kim Celebrates Senate Introduction of his Healthcare for Our Troops Act
This week, Congressman Kim thanked Senators Tammy Baldwin and Susan Collins for introducing his bipartisan Healthcare for Our Troops Act in the Senate. The Congressman introduced the legislation last year to make no-fee healthcare available to the over 800,000 Americans serving our nation in the Reserve and National Guard.

Congressman Kim Meets With the Director of the Air National Guard
On Wednesday, Congressman Kim met with Lt. Gen. Michael A. Loh, the director of the Air National Guard, and discussed modernization efforts for the Air National Guard in New Jersey and across the country. They also talked about recruiting, retention, and healthcare for national guardsmen.

On Tuesday, Congressman Kim spoke with the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research on health disparities impacting AAPI communities. He also discussed the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes and what the government can do to combat this.
