The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry will provide an update for city and town tree and forest managers and public works staff on the known status of emerald ash borer in Maine and related state efforts and municipal impacts. In December's update we will also discuss browntail moth, winter moth, hemlock woolly adelgid, red pine scale, and beech leaf disease.
This has been approved for 1.0 credit hour for Maine Licensed Pesticide Applicators and for 1.5 credit hours for Maine Professional Licensed Foresters.?

Learn about integrated pest management strategies and what they can and cannot do to protect hemlocks in your forest (as well as more urban settings).
