Hi All,

I’ll be brief.

It was almost a year ago I met Ed and Liliana Thelander. In that time, I have come to know them as two of the kindest, most generous and patriotic people I have ever met. They do not know I am sending this e-mail.

Ed and I have become pretty good friends. Being a Navy SEAL, Ed is not one to readily ask for help, being much more accustomed to offering his help wherever it is needed. That’s why I feel compelled to send this message on his behalf.

The entire Thelander family sacrificed much during the campaign – time spent apart, missed family outings, parentless soccer games, fewer family meals – and I’m sure many more things than I am aware of. But they also sacrificed financially.

Ed personally loaned the campaign a fair amount of money, being one to leave it all on the field. The fact is, Ed put more money into the campaign than the RNC, the NRCC and the Maine GOP, combined! I send this request, One Last Ask, to help Ed and his family move forward as whole as they came into this effort.

So, as Ed’s friend, I ask you to please consider hitting that red donate button one more time. Let’s all help Ed and his family close the books on a hard-fought race, and on solid footing to hit the ground running in 2023. The battle may not have turned out the way we had hoped, but no one can say that the war for the future of Maine and America is over. We will need soldiers like Ed to win!
