The Week in Review

November Tele-Town Hall Recap

On Wednesday, I held a tele-town hall where I answered questions from constituents on a wide variety of topics ranging from the War in Ukraine to how to lower gas and food prices to my run for House Speaker.

I appreciate the thousands of constituents who called in or watched live. We’ll be hosting another live tele-town hall in a few weeks. Stay tuned for updates.

Efforts to Ban COVID-19 Vaccine from Adolescent Immunization Schedule

This week, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and I introduced companion bills that would prohibit the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) from placing any vaccine for COVID-19 on the child and adolescent immunization schedule unless the Secretary provides clinical data relating to the safety and efficacy of the vaccine.

Recommending an ineffective vaccine on a demographic largely unaffected by a disease is medical malpractice. Data reveals that COVID-19 vaccines do not effectively prevent contraction or transmission of COVID.

Further, imposing these experimental vaccines on children—a demographic virtually unaffected by COVID—is anti-science and morally twisted. Parents—not unelected, Big Pharma loyalists—should have the final say in medical decisions for their children. I’m grateful to join forces with Senator Lee to ensure our government does not implement these tyrannical mandates.

The Washington Times covered the bill’s introduction here

Cosponsors of Congressman Biggs’s legislation include: Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS (R-AZ), Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI).

Improving Arizona’s Depleted Water Supply

Yesterday, I led members of the Arizona Congressional Delegation in sending a letter to the U.S. Departments of State and Interior, and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to request that the United States use all available diplomatic tools to ensure Mexican government representatives are engaged in discussions with the State of Arizona on efforts to augment water supplies.

Arizona faces severe water drought issues and Mexico could serve as a key partner in mutually-beneficial water projects.

This year, Arizona approved $1 billion for water augmentation projects that could be used towards desalination efforts in Mexico’s Gulf of California. Some of this water could ultimately be transported into the United States.

Arizona is prepared to discuss this project with Mexico but needs the assistance of the federal government to bring in representatives from the country.

We look forward to the response from these three departments and learning more about their efforts to help Arizona.

The letter may be read here.

Cosigners of Congressman Biggs’s letter include: Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ), Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ), Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS (R-AZ),  Rep.-elect Eli Crane (R-AZ), and Rep.-elect Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ).

My America First Contract

Now that the midterm elections are over, House Republicans will need to immediately reverse the Democrats’ disastrous policies to get our country back in good shape come January.

My America First Contract is an outline to reduce inflation and strengthen the economy, secure our border, restore transparency and parental choice in education, reduce violent crime and preserve the rule of law, restore election integrity, break up Big Tech, put America First in foreign, energy, and trade policies, and reinstate good government practices.

In addition to achieving these eight goals, the plan calls on conducting enhanced oversight and using available leverages to stop the abuse of power from President Biden in 2023. I will introduce legislation supporting each area of the plan within the first 100 days of the next Congressional term and will work with my colleagues to bring that legislation up for consideration in the House.

The full contract may be read here.

Alien Invasion Border Documentary

I recently released my new border documentary titled Alien Invasion. The 30-minute documentary features footage from private ranches along the border, the Darien Gap in Panama, and interviews with members of Congress, Border Patrol, local and state law enforcement, and much more. It addresses how President Biden’s border crisis began, its consequences, and solutions to address the crisis.

Definition of the Week

During a White House press briefing this week, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that President Joe Biden “has been to the [southern] border.”

When asked when he visited the border, Jean-Pierre had no answer and simply stated “he is taking action.”

Jean-Pierre had no answer because she knew President Biden has never visited the southern border. This has been widely reported and is known by Americans.

Inspired by KJP, here’s the definition of the week:

“He’s been to the border”: He’s actually never been to the border.
