Are you tired of Trudeau’s culture of wasteful spending, never ending deficits and tax hikes?

Here’s the math. You should be paying less tax. But Trudeau is spending $20 billion over budget.

In the April budget, the Trudeau government said it would spend $452 billion this year.

Trudeau just released his mid-year budget update. It says the government will now spend $472 billion.

In just seven months, Trudeau is somehow managing to spend $20 billion over budget.

You’re paying too much tax because Trudeau can’t even stick to his big-spending budget. Instead of spending $20 billion over budget, the federal government could cut the sales tax from five to three per cent and still lower the deficit.

The CTF’s Federal Director Franco Terrazzano testified at the Senate’s finance committee. Franco laid out all the facts. The government could lower the sales and reduce the deficit. Trudeau just needs to stop spending way over budget.
