In 153 days, people across Northern Ireland will vote in local government elections.

With the focus here often on Stormont and Westminster, the work of our eleven local Councils can go unnoticed.

Local Government, and the people you elect to represent you in Council take decisions on house/community planning, leisure centres, playparks, waste disposal and other local matters, as well as how much you pay for those services in your rates bill.

We are a party of low taxation. We want to see the best quality services delivered at the lowest possible cost. We are also a party of delivery and during the last Council term we pledged to deliver real change for people with disabilities.

The DUP is the strongest unionist voice in local government, taking decisions to benefit communities right across Northern Ireland. But we can’t win without you and your support.
