BACK IN ACTION

Good afternoon and happy Friday!

It’s been another busy week working for you in Washington, and we are looking forward to another beautiful weekend in the Lowcountry.

We hope you all had a restful Thanksgiving and enjoyed time with family and friends. It’s always important to take a step back and give thanks for all we have.

On Tuesday, we joined incoming Members of Congress and spoke on a panel about the challenges they will face and strategies for succeeding. As always, bipartisanship was an important part of the conversation. Working across the aisle to get things done is something our country needs more of.

This week, we also hosted many of our fantastic constituents in our D.C. office including an old Citadel classmate and great friend, COL Browning.

On Thursday, we introduced a resolution with Congressman Byron Donalds to ensure disaster relief money is not bogged down and complicated with partisan politics. This resolution will help keep partisan spending and unrelated policies out of vital aid for communities facing the aftermath of natural disasters.

Later on Thursday, we met with MEP Zovko to discuss issues in Europe including the situation in Ukraine. We also discussed how we can improve our partnerships in cybersecurity and energy.

On Friday, we voted to support in-home childcare services in underserved communities. This legislation will help people in South Carolina’s first Congressional district and in many other places across the country.

As always, our office is here to lend a hand whenever we can. As we start this new year, please reach out to our office if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to be heard on any issue at any time. We’re here to help.

It’s an immense honor to serve each and every one of you.

Sincerely,

Congresswoman Nancy Mace
