President Donald Trump pledged to “end endless wars.” Now, he has chosen to assassinate one of Iran’s most powerful leaders — an entirely unnecessary and aggressive act of war.

Trump’s administration will try to sell us on this war with the same fraudulent message the Bush administration and their many cronies used to send us to Iraq in 2003. They will say it is to “establish peace,” and to “preserve the American way of life.”

We were lied to in 2003, and we’re being lied to now.

The truth is, war does not bring peace.

We will not stand for more lies that cause millions of people to be murdered and displaced. We will not send more of our young people into an endless war that is solely for political and economic profit.
