I’m going to be blunt: The House is one of the best (and only) lines of defense we have against Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell.
Trump tried to gut funding for Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and is working to undermine both the Affordable Care Act and the Environmental Protection Agency. McConnell is obstructing any action on climate change and has stated that his number one priority is confirming Trump’s lifetime appointments.
The biggest thing stopping them is our Democratic House Majority.
That’s why National Republicans are singling me out. It’s why I already have two rightwing GOP challengers. If they flip my district back to red, they’re one step closer to winning the House and having a Republican trifecta in control of the House, Senate, and White House.
