John,
Thanks to hundreds of CREW supporters, we had a very successful Giving Tuesday!
Whether you donated, shared CREW’s work with friends, or sent words of support—we couldn’t do this work without you.
CREW’s work protecting our democracy and fighting for accountability remains as urgent as it has ever been.
While election deniers had some big losses in last month’s election, there are still hundreds of them in Congress and state legislatures across the country. Donald Trump is likely to be indicted in Georgia soon—but in the meantime, he has faced no consequences for the 56 crimes he has likely committed since 2015. And, of course, he’s running for president again. We’re preparing to take action, when the law allows, to enforce the 14th Amendment’s Disqualification Clause against him for his incitement of the January 6th insurrection to keep him out of office.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg: from dark money in our elections, to intelligence failures ahead of January 6th, to judicial ethics reform, to global corruption, to corporations funding the Sedition Caucus—CREW is tracking it all, exposing wrongdoers, taking legal action and going all in to protect our democracy.
And we couldn’t do any of it without supporters like you. Thank you, again, for your support this week, and every week.
Noah Bookbinder
President, CREW
