When voters passed radical pro-abortion ballot initiatives in abortion-friendly states last month, it was heartbreaking, but not surprising.

But when the people of Montana(!) voted to kill babies born alive after surviving failed abortions, it forces us to ask "What kind of country do we live in?"

There must be some monster inside us, that our desire for a child to die is so great that we won't even help her as she helplessly struggles for life on the operating table.

May God have mercy on us.
