Tell the EPA: Get Cancer-Causing Chromium-6 Out of Our Drinking Water

Dear friend,

More than 250 million Americans are drinking tap water contaminated with a cancer-causing chemical. The EPA has known for over a decade that chromium-6 can increase the risk of cancer but, thanks to industry pressure, has done nothing to protect Americans.

Finally we have the chance to weigh in. The EPA is asking to hear from the public, but we only have until December 12 to make our voices heard. Will you join us?

A new EPA assessment recently confirmed that chromium-6, the carcinogenic industrial contaminant made famous by Erin Brockovich, is dangerous in tap water. This assessment was delayed for over a decade, thanks to industry lobbying!

Scientists have also linked chromium-6 to increased risk of stomach cancer, damage to the liver and damage to the reproductive system. We can’t allow the EPA to continue caving to industry pressure. But it’s going to take a tidal wave of grassroots action to get the agency’s attention. Can we count on you to join us?

TAKE ACTION: Tell the EPA to get cancer-linked chromium-6 out of our drinking water!

Thanks for standing with us, friend.
