Take action to reintroduce grizzlies in the North Cascades.

John,

For thousands of years, majestic grizzlies roamed the North Cascades of Washington state — but today fewer than 10 bears can be found there.

With your help, we can bring grizzlies back to this wild place they once called home.

Thanks to our legal action, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service are developing a plan to restore grizzly bears to the North Cascades and manage their recovery. But one option being considered would allow landowners to kill bears on their property — and we can’t let that happen.

The agencies are now taking comments from the public on their draft plan. Speak up for the bears by voicing your strong support for their reintroduction to the rugged North Cascades — and your equally strong opposition to any plan that would allow landowners to kill grizzly bears.

Form letters will not be accepted, so it’s crucial that you personalize the sample letter we've provided. In your own words, state why grizzly bear recovery matters to you. It takes a little longer — but the bears will thank you.
