We're aiming to raise £160,000 for the Big Give Christmas Challenge. Every single donation you make today will be doubled. At no extra cost.
Dear John
With the UK government still dithering over wind power, and fossil fuel companies growing ever more powerful, we need your help this week.
The good news? Every pound you're able to donate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge will be doubled for free [1].
That means twice as much support for our legal team as they challenge dangerous decisions in court. Like next week's Supreme Court battle over the UK government's overseas fossil fuel investment in Mozambique.
And double the support as we campaign for sustainable solutions to the energy crisis. Like boosting UK government investment in insulation and clean energy.
Thanks so much if you've already chipped in. If you can – and I completely understand if you can't – will you donate to help us reach our £160,000 target before 6 December?
I'LL DONATE TO DOUBLE MY IMPACT ([link removed])
I’ve included my previous email below as a reminder. And as I said, please don’t worry if you’re not able to donate. We so appreciate everything you already do for us.
All the best,

Dear John
People all over the country are being priced out of staying warm this winter – you can help us change things.
There’s a future where we’re no longer forced to pay through our noses to prop up the profits of dirty oil and gas companies. Or shiver in cold homes.
But that future can only exist with UK government action to fix the UK’s broken energy system.
So with your help, we’re campaigning for real solutions to the energy crisis. From an ambitious home insulation programme to investment in cheap renewable resources that help the UK stop relying on expensive fossil fuels.
This week it’s the Big Give Christmas Challenge. And we’re aiming to raise £160,000 to support our vital work. The great news? Every single donation you make today will be doubled. At no extra cost.
I completely understand if you can’t donate right now. But if you’re able to chip in anything at all, this is a brilliant opportunity to double your impact. Can you help us reach our target?
I'LL DONATE TO DOUBLE MY IMPACT ([link removed])
Bold action on the climate and cost-of-living crises should have been at the heart of the UK government's autumn statement last month.
But the announcement showed the government kicking the can down the road. With a home insulation plan that doesn't go nearly far enough. And a watery windfall tax that lets fossil fuel firms avoid paying most of it if they invest in more gas and oil.
Instead, we need the UK government to fund an ambitious home insulation programme, focused on those most in need first. And supported by a windfall tax on oil and gas giants' obscene excess profits.
With the energy price cap set to rise again next year, we need solutions that don’t force people in the UK to pick up the cost of the energy crisis. So your support is crucial to the future of our campaign.
If you can, will you help us reach our £160,000 target in the Big Give Christmas Challenge? Anything you can give will be doubled, and so will your impact.
DONATE £10 AND IT'LL BE DOUBLED TO £20 ([link removed])
DONATE £20 AND IT'LL BE DOUBLED TO £40 ([link removed])
DONATE £30 AND IT'LL BE DOUBLED TO £60 ([link removed])
If you're not able to donate at the moment, please don't worry. Everything you already do for us is so appreciated. Whether it's signing a petition or spreading the word on social media, we couldn't do what we do without your support.
All the best,
Sana
