Dear friends,

During our recent matching campaign, members of the PIH community from 22 different countries banded together to do something remarkable. Together we surpassed the matching gift target, unlocking essential funds to help our teams deliver health care around the world.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Today, PIHers are:

* Opening a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Rwanda

* Rehabilitating a psychiatric hospital in Sierra Leone (which was just accredited)

* Providing lifesaving medicines for free around the world

* And so much more

These efforts are a small sample of the lifesaving action you continue to make possible every day.

But the impact of our example and advocacy is even larger. Together our work has changed the face of global health care towards justice over and over.

A wave of donations is just one part of the story of this last week. Perhaps most crucially, many contributors decided to start monthly recurring gifts—the most efficient way to help build long-term solutions that will outlast any emergency.

Thank you for your incredible and immediate generosity.

In gratitude,

The Partners In Health team

P.S. There is still a long way to go to adequately fund the work that must be done caring for people and advocating for justice. If you'd like to join the PIH supporters who gave to this campaign, your contribution will be put to work immediately.
