You can join our gathering (mask required) at the Norm Dicks Government Center in Bremerton, participate via Zoom, or stream the program on Facebook. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m.; program opens at 6 p.m.
Community members are invited to join a Kitsap World AIDS Day remembrance and celebration tonight.
World AIDS Day was created in 1988 to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, encourage support for people living with the condition, and celebrate the lives of those lost to the epidemic. The first World AIDS Day event was hosted in Kitsap County just a few years later.
This Kitsap World AIDS Day event will include guest speakers, an open mic for community sharing, and a candlelight reflection.A full program will be circulated prior to the gathering.

Join in person at the Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 6th Street, Bremerton. Masks are required.

Kitsap Public Health's dedicated HIV Case Management Program Supervisor Betti Ridge retired this month. Clients and community members will have the opportunity to greet Betti and offer well wishes at this year's World AIDS Day event.
Betti served this agency for 22 years, having arrived in April 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in human services and a Master's degree in counseling psychology. Since then, Betti has shared her knowledge and compassion with clients and coworkers alike.
