The Chinese people were moved to action when an apartment fire in the city of Urumqi killed ten people. The building was under lockdown, residents were unable to escape, and efforts to help were restricted.
Now, the Chinese people are demanding change. Some are even calling for Xi Jinping’s resignation, shouting, “Down with Xi Jinping!" and, "Down with the Communist Party!”
There are members of the Biden administration, such as Anthony Fauci, that argue that China’s Zero-COVID policy is “draconian”. Their solution is more vaccinations.
What do you think should be done with remaining pandemic-related issues? Are the Chinese people right to revolt, or is Zero-COVID a more pro-human goal?
We have a Single Issue Survey on the matter of pandemic policy. In it, you will be asked if you believe, “We need a strong central government that will enforce national quarantine-in-place rules,” or if, “Quarantine-in-place should not be coercively enforced at all as such policies give governments too much power.”
You will also be asked how important the role of vaccines are in managing the pandemic.
See how your views align with others who have taken the survey.
