Annual Summit Brings Together Leaders from Across Israeli Society



ADL Israel hosted its annual

Israel Social Cohesion Summit , a major conference that brings together leaders from across Israeli society to discuss the challenges and issues that impact various communities, and what can be done to address and bridge the divides.


Alongside the Summit, over two-dozen ADL leaders from the US gathered in Israel for the first-ever Israel Social Cohesion Week. Lead by CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, the group attended side events in Umm al-Fahem and Beit Shemesh to learn about communal and local issues. They also met with representatives from the

Concern About Inclusion of Extremist Figures in Israeli Government

In a

statement following the recent Israeli elections, ADL said it was greatly concerned about the likely inclusion of extremist figures in the next Israeli government:


“We are greatly concerned that the results of the Israeli election suggest the next government, led by former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, will likely include representatives from the Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionist parties, including their leaders Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, and offering them government ministries. Both have a long history of engaging in racist, anti-Arab, homophobic and other hateful behavior.”

ADL Hosts Global Roundtable for Jewish Communal Partners



In the leadup to the annual Never is Now Summit on Antisemitism and Hate,

ADL hosted over two-dozen global Jewish communal partners - who were in New York for the Summit - for a series of roundtable discussions on trends in antisemitism, anti-Zionism, incident response and data collection, and best practices in educating on antisemitism and hate. The day-long roundtable also featured a

panel discussion with representatives from Amazon Web Services, TikTok and YouTube for a discussion on moderating hateful online content.

ADL condemned several terrorist attacks across Israel, including a

stabbing in Ariel that killed three Israelis, and two terrorist bombings of bus stops in Jerusalem, which resulted in the killing of

new blog highlights how the recent wave of Palestinian terrorism has resulted in some US-based anti-Israel groups openly supporting and even encouraging violence against Israel.
