Friend, House Democrats officially elected Hakeem Jeffries as House minority leader, making him the first Black congressional leader in history! 

Hakeem Jeffries has tirelessly advocated for the people – he helped President Biden fight for the Inflation Reduction Act, he’s fought to keep our communities safe from the threat of gun violence, and he’ll do everything in his power to protect reproductive rights.

He's got some pretty big shoes to fill after Nancy Pelosi, but we know he'll do an amazing job advocating and fighting for our progressive values.
