This is it. We’re just 5 days away from the Georgia runoff election – the outcome of which will shape the trajectory of our nation and our ability to uphold the values and vision of People For the American Way.
People For has been making strategic investments to increase voter turnout throughout the state through our proven Defend the Black Vote program that includes:
- Sending over 1 million text messages to Black male voters between the ages of 18-60 to encourage them to vote and provide the information necessary that empowers them to do so.
- A blitz of ads including radio, digital, and billboards that reminds voters of the power of their voice and vote at the ballot box.
- Working alongside world-renowned visual artists, Victoria Cassinova, Alyson Shotz, Shepard Fairey, and multimedia artist Carrie Mae Weems, who are creating artwork which we disseminate that is meant to inspire voters and remind them what’s at stake in this election.
- We are also supporting our African American Ministers network in a GOTV effort, providing transportation for voters to the polls.
