Kitsap County is updating its Comprehensive Plan through 2024 to create a blueprint to guide policy, planning and investments for the next 20 years of population and employment growth. One element of the Comprehensive Plan is the Silverdale Regional Center [ [link removed] ] that will be discussed at the next meeting of the Central Kitsap Community Council from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 in the Rainier Room of the Central Kitsap School District's Silverdale Center at the Silverdale Library [ [link removed] ], 3650 NW Anderson Hill Road.

Colin Puff of the Kitsap County Department of Community Development will review the Comprehensive Plan and Silverdale Regional Center update process and answer questions. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend to learn how to provide input into creating a plan to make Silverdale a more livable, sustainable and balanced
mixed-use urban area serving everyday essentials to residents, employees and visitors.
