It’s the most wonderful time of the year: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Offseason for the tax world! To prepare for the upcoming tax season, the Taxpayer Opportunity Network (TON) is hosting “VITA Offseason Prep: 2022 Tax Law Updates” on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST. [[link removed]] Attendees will get access to tax law updates and highlights, specifically those impacting VITA sites moving forward. This 90-minute webinar features content on the most significant tax law changes and what we can expect come 2023. Attendees will also hear from, and interact with, our TON VITA field experts as they share some of their thoughts and insights from the perspective of their local sites.
We'll be headlined by two of the most experienced members of the VITA/TCE & TON communities: TON Steering Committee Member Brad Martin of the United Way of Southwest Alabama, and Marshall J. Hunt of the Accounting Aid Society (and a TON Steering Committee alum)!
