John,
In January 2021, Georgia voters showed up to the polls in record numbers to make their voices heard at the ballot box. Now, once again, the Georgia Senate race is headed to a runoff and we need that same level of energy again for next Tuesday’s election.
With the runoff election day less than a week away, time is of the essence to contact as many Georgia voters as possible to ensure they have all the information they need to turn out and vote.
We’re joining our friends at Fair Fight for virtual phonebanks every day through December 6th, to call Georgia voters to make sure they have a plan to vote and follow through with that plan. Join us to make sure voters have all the resources they need to vote by Tuesday. Sign up to phonebank today!
Please note that all times are Eastern Time in order to best contact Georgia voters. At the start of this phonebank there will be a quick training and overview of the script to make sure you have all the information you need and feel ready to get on the phone. Then we will be on Zoom through the entire phonebank to answer any questions you may have.
We will be using the Hubdialer system to make these calls. To participate in these phonebanks you will need a phone (landline or cell phone) AND a device of some sort (this can be a laptop, tablet, desktop computer, iPad, etc).
There is much at stake in this runoff, and the Georgia legislature has done everything in its power to suppress the voices of voters, especially from vulnerable and marginalized communities. Our multiracial democracy only works when everyone has the chance to voice their opinions and concerns at the ballot box.
Help us fight back against voter suppression by calling Georgia voters and making sure they have everything they need to vote in this critical runoff election!
Thank you for all you do to help defend democracy,
Deborah Weinstein Executive Director, Coalition on Human Needs
