John,
Next Wednesday, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear one of its most important democracy cases in years: Moore v. Harper.
At the core of the case is a group of politicians making a play for control over elections without any checks or balances.
There’s too much at risk for us to stay silent. So while the justices hear oral arguments in this case, our movement is gathering outside to call on them to stop this outrageous power grab. Will you meet me there?
RSVP now to join us next Wednesday, December 7, in Washington, D.C. to rally outside the Supreme Court and protect our vote and our voice. Meet up with us ahead of the rally to get your RepresentUs sign and gear – hope to see you there!
This case is a big deal. Moore v. Harper could have as big an impact on America’s elections as Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. Depending on how the Court rules, we could be looking at countless lawsuits from corrupt politicians challenging some of our movement's greatest victories.
And this isn’t an isolated attack. It’s part of a national, coordinated, and unprecedented legislative and legal strategy to take away voters’ ability to pass laws through ballot initiatives.1
It’s critical that our movement shows up and makes our voices heard on December 7. I hope we can count on you next week. RSVP now to get all the information you’ll need to join us in Washington, D.C.
Together, we’ll put a stop to a power grab that would silence voters and state courts.
See you out there!
