Hi John,
World AIDS Day serves as a time to come together and support our community impacted by and living with HIV while commemorating those we have lost in our shared fight against the epidemic. But Equality Federation’s commitment to expanding rights for people living with and impacted by HIV happens every single day.
In 2022 alone, the LGBTQ+ community witnessed hundreds of pieces of legislation aimed solely at taking away our rights. This year, Equality Federation and partners have worked to eliminate outdated state laws that penalize people living with HIV and are rooted in misinformation, fear, and stigma instead of protecting our people who have chronic health needs.
By making a donation today [[link removed]] , your contributions will directly enhance our ability to fight back against HIV and address social determinants of health. Ending HIV as we know it is very possible but only with your help.

Our HIV advocacy partnerships help expand state LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations’ ability to improve HIV and other public health policies. Some of our network’s proudest wins include:
A wave of new HIV decriminalization or repeal laws in New Jersey, Illinois, Nevada, and Georgia
Incorporation of transgender-inclusive advocacy priorities and policies in Ending the HIV Epidemic plans submitted to the CDC in Texas thanks to Transgender Education Network of Texas
These wins and advancements were made possible thanks to the support of people like you and the collective belief that everyone deserves human rights, especially the right to live free from stigma and have access to lifesaving HIV prevention and treatment resources. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to another year of working together until we end new HIV transmissions in all of our communities.
Committed to ending the epidemic with you,
