I hope you are enjoying the start to this holiday season.
Last year, I introduced the 2021 Heroes program to recognize everyday heroes in NJ-11 for their positive impact on our community. I received so many wonderful tributes to teachers, healthcare providers, first responders, family members, volunteers, and more who made a difference. Read more here about our 2021 Heroes.
Today, I am relaunching this program for 2022! I encourage all to reflect on those in your life who have been a hero to you, in ways big and small, and submit their name.
The deadline to submit a nomination for the 2022 Heroes program is Monday, December 12.
The form to nominate a 2022 Hero can be found here.
In the form, we ask that you share why you think your hero should be recognized and provide your hero’s address so that if they are selected, we can mail them their honorary Congressional Certificate. Nominees must live or work in NJ-11.
We hope to highlight a few of the 2022 Heroes on our social media pages to recognize them for their hard work. Please check yes on that question in the form if you consent to us sharing your hero publicly. If your hero is selected for this additional recognition, we will reach out to them to get their permission as well.
I look forward to the chance to recognize some of the amazing and inspirational members of our community.
