These have been the weirdest times possible. I’ve had some significant life changes lately. And this is tough news to share. Sadly, my fiancé and I are are no longer together.
I told you all about our engagement in this newsletter, so it seems weird to not share this news too, and have you all thinking I’m heading towards marriage. Of course no one goes into an engagement thinking it will end like this. But life throws you curveballs sometimes. We tried our best. And we loved each other very much.
I want to thank you all for how kind you were to her, and to us. I'm really grateful she and I got to spend the nearly half a decade together that we did. And I'm grateful for all the wonderful memories. I wish her all the happiness in the world.
Of course this is hard. But it helps to realize it's for the long term best. You can't make something work if it doesn't. Sometimes you start seeing things too differently, and you end up far apart.
In life you don't always have control over as much as you'd like. That's just how it goes. Sometimes all you can do is move on.
This happened a while ago. But it’s been long enough now that I can announce it. It is what it is. Life is still great in lots of other ways. In the wake of Thanksgiving, there is still a lot to be thankful for. I’m thankful for all of you. And I’m also thankful to be doing live shows again, along with my virtual shows. And I have two in particular I want to tell you about.
In a bit of very odd timing, I was asked to perform comedy at and host a
singles mixer event this Friday night December 2, at a real cool performance space in Hollywood called Pau Haus. As they say, the show must go on. And I’m known for my hosting so let’s do it. I’m not looking to meet anyone at this event, (that’s why I’ll be on stage working), but that doesn’t mean I can’t help you! The very funny Hanna Dickinson will be opening for me, then I perform (lots of new material), and then I’ll lead you all through some dating games and activities to get you all meeting some cool people. Maybe you’ll find a special someone, or maybe you’ll just network. Either way it’s a great way to get off the apps and meet people IRL! Ladies are half off with promo code “lady” and admission includes an open bar, weed, and some food! It’s gonna be fun times! Prices go up at the door so get a ticket now.

And on the other side of the country, you can ring in the new year with me! I’ll be headlining Helium Comedy Club in Buffalo, New York December 29-31. Including New Year’s Eve! My new hour will be in killer shape by then, plus of course I always customize my shows for the audience. This is THE ONLY road weekend I will
Have performed the entire year. And as of now I’m not touring next year either. So if you are anywhere close, this is a very rare chance. Come celebrate with me! You can get
TICKETS HERE.
And if you haven’t seen it yet, check out my new standup special
THE MAD KING on YouTube
RIGHT HERE. Or watch it again! Some people are watching it no joke 20 times! (If you watch, please share it and leave comments.)
I’m also still trying to get the job hosting
THE DAILY SHOW, and I’ve just heard that they may be trying out different hosts in January, so please check out my submission video
RIGHT HERE and share it if you like, tagging @comedycentral @thedailyshow. I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks as always, especially now, for the support. You all have given me a lot of happiness.
